• Organize career events like fairs, partnership days, guest speaker sessions, and college days to facilitate student-industry professional connections.
• Plan and execute various industry tours and events, including special events like Manufacturing Day.
• Conduct expanded counseling sessions focusing on career exploration and goal-setting for students.
• Introduce and conduct workshops addressing industry trends and emerging career opportunities.
• Establish a formalized outreach program targeting middle schools to raise career awareness.
• Expand Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to align with high-demand industries.
• Introduce networking workshops and mentorship programs to enhance students' professional skills.
• Initiate comprehensive financial aid workshops to support students in their career pursuits.
• Develop structured exploration programs tailored to students' career interests and pathways.
• Expand opportunities for Work-Based Learning and training programs to equip students with practical skills and industry certifications.
• Attend professional development sessions and provide leadership in career coaching initiatives, including the Rework America Alliance program.
• Conduct follow-up surveys with employers and students to assess program effectiveness.
• Assist staff in supporting students from special populations.
• Conduct training sessions for school counselors across all Area 31 schools.
• Collaborate directly with County Economic Development to address local needs.
• Coordinate connections between local businesses and students through Advisory Committees and Work-Based Learning opportunities.
