• Develop and implement individualized programs of therapy to meet individual needs of students with speech/language impairments.

- Assistant and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring, suspected and identified speech/language impairments.
- Provide thorough assessments and diagnosis of speech, voice, fluency and language impairments.
- Assist in screening to identify children with speech/language impairments.
- Serve as a consultant to teachers and school staff members on topics concerning speech/language.
- Keep thorough ongoing records for the individual student receiving speech/language services. This also includes keeping IEP files up to date.
- Participate in student teams, special services staff meetings (building and district level), IEP meetings, and other meetings as requested by the Director of Special Services.
