MSA Professional Services is Hiring a Graduate Engineer - Mechanical Near Madison, WI

Overview

MSA has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer - Mechanical at any of the following Wisconsin offices: Appleton, Beaver Dam, Kiel, Madison, Mequon, Milwaukee on the Building Service Line. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

This position is primarily focused on HVAC projects supporting our MEP team in the Public Sector.

Responsibilities

The work you will do

  • Design of HVAC and plumbing systems including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specification, and coordination. Fire protection scope of work design specification and layout
  • Drawing development using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Perform code reviews
  • Shop drawing and submittal review and processing
  • Quantity take-offs and cost estimates
  • Project work and client interaction

Qualifications

What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
  • Intership with HVAC and/or plumbing design experience required
  • Experience with architectural projects such as schools, municipal buildings, health care facilities and commercial buildings preferred
  • Prior exposure seeing a project from start to finish with both contractors, clients and other disciplines preferred
  • Experience with Revit preferred

STIP payments are awarded if MSA reaches its corporate financial plan for the year.
