MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client, are NOW HIRING an experienced Cherry Picker Operator in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area!
17.50 / hour - 1st Shift
19.00 / hour - 2nd Shift
As a Cherry Picker Operator your main tasks will involve using the forklift to retrieve items from warehouse shelves for shipment and helping package and label them for order fulfillment. Other tasks include keeping track of inventory changes and completing daily production reports.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use a Cherry Picker Forklift to place or remove large items on warehouse shelves
- Package and label items for shipment
- Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse
- Use a cherry picker forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory
- Follow all safety regulations
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including loading and unloading delivery trucks
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- 6 months of experience operating a Cherry Picker or Forklift is REQUIRED
- Shipping and receiving experience is preferred
- High School diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- Experience operating a pallet jack (preferred)
- Hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical skills
- Physical stamina
- All applicants must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
