MS Companies is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Simpsonville, KY
Main Responsibilities
- Gather data from customer and internal sources as input for problem solving and communicate/report to appropriate personnel.
- Interact with staff within the location and within the company and all customer and prospective customer representatives.
- Process Analysis – provide input on processes from a quality perspective, aid in implementation of new processes.
- Manage quality process and reports – 3rd party sorts, suspect material, damage material, etc
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to deal with suspect material.
- Summarize and distribute any customer plant summary report made available to appropriate personnel.
- Support operations with daily production activities – Quality checks, rejected material, hazmat, etc.
- Supports Quality Manager in the maintenance of Quality Systems.
- Manage and maintain the internal audit schedule for all required Quality Systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma; some college degree is preferred.
- Proficiency on computers and Microsoft Office Products
- Above average interpersonal, organizational and communication skills - written and oral to deal with a wide range of customers both internal and external.
- Strong analytical skills and technical savvy.
