This Position is a 10 hour shift - Monday - Thursday - (2nd Shift) 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Off Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Salary Range - $19 to $28 based on experience.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete responsibility for the maintenance requirements of facilities and production equipment across all product lines and support departments. Provides hands-on oversight of preventative maintenance programs and schedules, coordinates continuous improvement activities with Maintenance Team Leader.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide prompt service to production associates and line supervisors on equipment repairs
• Performs benchwork for troubleshooting and assembly and dissembling
• Operates shop equipment such as lathes, key setters, grinders, and impact wrenches
• Follow All Safe Work Practices in Lock-Out/Tag-Out
• Works to repair and return to safe mechanical operation - production machinery and equipment
• Completes work orders, PM sheets, and inventory lists
• Ensure reliability and safety of all Anodizing System Hoists, Tanks, Pumps, Controls, and Equipment
• Utilizes a variety of pneumatic and handheld tools
• Performs troubleshoot diagnosing and repairing/replacing from floor to overhead height
• Repair and/or modify machinery and equipment per work orders or problem reports
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, drawings, etc.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, repairing, rebuilding, and tolerance checks as outlined in applicable manuals and procedures
• Assist in maintaining proper levels of replacement, spare parts, and PM supplies to support machine uptime goals and requirements
• Maintain facility - plant maintenance including pneumatics, HVAC, plumbing, and storage organization or coordinate the oversight of contractors
• Any additional duties as determined by the Plant Manager

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• Mechanical experience with machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, saws, hoists
• General Welding experience – Mig, Tig, Arc & Oxy-acetylene
• Boiler experience and PLC trouble shooting experience desired
• Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

· Working knowledge of forklifts and hand trucks · Ability to recognize safety hazards and work within safety guidelines

• Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy objects and work in tight spaces
• Problem solving and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Basic computer skills – Previous experience with computerized maintenance work order system a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Exerting up to 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 100 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

Physical demand requirements are in excess for sedentary work.
