Maintenance Technician (Traveler)

Pay Range: $55-65 / hr

Contract: 90-365 days

Travel: All Travel, housing and per diem paid for the duration of the contract. Travel home every other week.

Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Commerce, GA. This is a unique opportunity to be apart of a travel team that is supporting an important project in the automotive industry. In this role you will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. He or she will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production

and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. A successful candidate will have a well rounded maintenance background in an Industrial environment, and be prepared to work as a part of a team of technicians, engineers and managers to keep the factory in top condition. Responsibilities

 Uses mechanical skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and

hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment in accordance with established safety

procedures

 Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and

performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Calls

for back up and coordinates repairs with other mechanics

 Installs, repairs, overhauls, modifies and maintains electrical and mechanical systems,

equipment, and machinery

 Performs required routine preventative maintenance and repair activities when not working on

breakdowns

 Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electrical, electronic, and mechanical components

throughout the facility

 Inspects and checks equipment for proper operating condition, makes necessary adjustments,

logs test readings, and maintains, repairs, or replaces all essential equipment parts

 Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system

malfunctions, and provide technical information

Qualifications:

 High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development)

 (Preferred) Experience in manufacturing environment
