Mrs. Mekler's Mercantile is a local brand known for its unique range of gourmet products and commitment to customer experiences. We’re excited to open a new retail space in Pembroke, MA and are on the hunt for dedicated, enthusiastic, and service-oriented individuals to join our team at Sea Salted by Mrs. Mekler’s Mercantile!

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working in retail a plus
• Walk and/or stand during shifts
• Be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Communicate verbally and listen well
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills
• Have reliable personal or public transportation
• Be local to the Greater Boston, Massachusetts area
• Flexible daytime and weekend availability

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers, offering assistance & share product knowledge passionately
• Process sales efficiently, ensuring an enjoyable checkout experience for every customer
• Maintain the visual appeal of the retail store, ensuring products are well-displayed and the area is kept clean and tidy
• Manage and restock inventory as needed
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the business
• Handle any customer complaints or issues with professionalism and poise
• Stay updated about Mrs. Mekler's Mercantile products and promotions, and enthusiastically communicate them to customers
• Be a brand ambassador, creating memorable experiences for every individual who stops by
• Work safely and encourage safety, ensuring all protocols and procedures are followed
• Assist with packaging and labeling products
• Handle shipping of online orders

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
