Location: Lawrence, KS Qty = 3 - 1 each for 1st 2nd 3rd shift Relocation: YES - Client offers relocation assistance with a lump sum sign on Bonus Hourly Pay Rate: $35 - $40 1.5X OT differential of $0.25 for 2nd shift & $1.5 for 3rd shift Benefits: Full package for medical, dental insurance, 401K,10 days - vacation, 13 days - PTO, etc. Group Info: Be part of the medical device and pharmaceutical contract manufacturing site with around 100 employees and expected to grow to 150 people soon due to major expansion in Pharma manufacturing. The new operation expansion is for Pharma - Blow Fill Cap - BFC of Sterile Solutions.This Engineering & Maintenance group has around 10 Technical people for various functions like Manufacturing, Project Management, Systems, Validation, Automation, Maintenance, etc.Note 1: This role will report directly to the Manager of Plant Maintenance. Note 2: 1st shift = 7 - 3.30 PM, 2nd shift = 3.00 - 11.30 PM & 3rd shift = Sun - Fri - 11 PM - 7.30 AM Provide Electrical-Mechanical Maintenance Functions
Maintenance of Utility/Facility and Production/Packaging equipment
Maintain and troubleshoot Mechanical/Electrical systems
Maintain Electrical systems - part of power Utility systems
Support & train Jr. Mechanics
Interface with automation system and OEM suppliers / vendors as needed
Use the CMMS systems to manage maintenance work orders till process completion
Candidate Must Have
5 years of Maintenance experience in the manufacturing Industry.
Excellent people, team working and computer skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment.
Candidate Nice To Have
Some certificate or courses in technical field
Some experience with FDA, OSHA, EPA, regulations and compliance.
Experience in the Pharma / Medical Device industry.
Experience with Plastic Injection/Blow Molding, Pneumatics, Servo, VFD
Experience with PLCs and Automation systems.
Knowledge of Sterile Aseptic Filling Operations
Experience with Purified water and Water for Injection - WFI systems
Startup or Small company experience working in a dynamic and hands-on role
