Immediate opportunity available for a full time MRI Technologist Assistance/Aide at our MRI of Reston Outpatient Center. We have day shift and evening shift available.

Responsibilities

MRI assistants work closely with MRI technologists and radiologists. MRI assistants are mainly responsible for administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments. Clinical responsibility include but are not limited to:

• Taking patients' medical history
• Escorting patients to their MRI room
• Be able to start patient’s IV’s.

Job Skills

Knowledge of MRI procedures and safety-issues, organization skills, communication skills, computer skills, multi-tasking

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent required for entry-level positions; completion of nursing attendant, medical assisting, or clinical coursework preferred
