dick clark productions (dcp) is the world's largest producer and proprietor of televised live event entertainment programming with the "Academy of Country Music Awards," "American Music Awards," "Billboard Music Awards," "Golden Globe Awards," "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest," “So You Think You Can Dance,” and the “Streamy Awards.” dcp owns one of the world's most extensive and unique entertainment archive libraries with more than 60 years of award-winning shows, historic programs, specials, performances and legendary programming.

The role:

The Director of Information Technology for dick clark productions will lead all aspects of IT for the company. The Director will be responsible for infrastructure (on prem and cloud), software & hardware procurement, managing desktop support, and related tasks. We are most interested in candidates with an experienced track record in IT management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage in person and remote onboarding and offboarding
• Maintain healthy relationships with service providers & vendors
• Provide vision and guidance on current and new technologies
• Quickly respond to specific and unique IT needs
• Continually develop and maintain company standards
• Provide hands on help desk support as needed
• Supervise external resources and consultants as needed
• Develop roadmaps, standard operating procedures, policies, and documentation to ensure cost & procedural efficiency
• Manage support contract relationships for in-scope and out of scope IT needs
• Collaborate with other divisions to ensure their work flow

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred but not required
• 5 years of experience leading IT projects, with emphasis on time and budgets
• Working knowledge of IT audits & compliance
• Excellent knowledge of: macOS, Windows, Windows Server, Azure, and Microsoft 365
• Great written & verbal communication plus technical presentation skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• A creative approach to business needs, and a flexible approach to solutions
• Ability to align IT objectives to near & far term business objectives
• Experience collaborating with C level and senior leaders to drive operational success
• Conflict resolution skills and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
• Ability to quickly learn and apply that knowledge to real-world problems
• Some travel may be required
