Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit cards, and operate cash registers or POS systems
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food service/hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing, retail math, and food industry practices is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating bills, and making change
- Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
