Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
