Mr Hospitality Group LLC is Hiring a Floor Manager Near Miami Beach, FL

Mr. Hospitality is a fully integrated hospitality management group that conceptualizes, owns and operates restaurants and five-star nightlife destinations in Miami. We are looking for a Floor Manager responsible for restaurant operations on a daily basis. Areas of responsibility include server, busser, and food runner supervision and management. Position assists with promoting service quality standards, menu planning, maintains company rules and regulations, assists restaurant leadership team during peak periods and manages property inventories and controls. Strives to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Accountable for enforcing all legal obligations professionally and consistently. Determines training needed to accomplish goals and implements training plan. Strengthens the restaurant team by assisting in other outlets when needed.

The responsibilities include:

  • Ensures compliance with all internal policies, standards, and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands-on management.
  • Understands inventory control, costs controls, mix of sales analysis, issue & returns, food standards, and period end inventory.
  • Monitors adherence to all control policies and procedures including Time and Attendance, Missed Punch, PTO, Overtime, and No Alcohol and Drug
  • Determines restaurant needs and communicates with General Manager and Human Recourses to fill needed positions
  • Uses Hotschedules to schedule staff properly based on the business needs
  • Performs Payroll daily to avoid payroll discrepancies
  • Addresses issues with team members by following the company's disciplinary action procedure
  • Maintains food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Communicates critical information to the staff regarding each event.
  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  • Responds effectively to guest problems and complaints.
  • Provides feedback to individuals in an effort to improve service performance.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of corrective action plans.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management and/or at least three years of experience in the hospitality industry (ideally) or related field.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Toast, Seven Rooms, Triple Seat
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Familiarity with food handling, safety and other restaurant guidelines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Present themselves in a professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrates honesty/integrity and models appropriate behaviors by leading by example and serving as a role model.
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
