We are a construction hardware distribution company, located in San Leandro, CA, looking for a Warehouse Assistant who can support our Warehouse Manager in maintaining warehouse operations, pull orders and stocking, shipping, and quality checking items. Attention to detail is critical to this position.

The position is immediate full-time from 9am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Quality check items.
- Organize inventory (Requires heavy lifting).
- Load and unload inventory.

- Ship packages and palletize cartons & shrink-wrapping.

- Operate cutting/punching equipments and forklift.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Heavy lifting required.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, and problem‐solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers,
telephone systems, calculators, copiers and fax machines.

- To operate heavy cutting/routing machinery
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, especially warehouse Safety rules
- Knowledge of how to drive a forklift is a plus- Will Certify.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years warehouse distribution experience preferred
- Must be able to operate forklift and work with cutting machinery & punch

- Must be computer literate
- Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team

Compensation:
- $19.00 per hour.
