We are a local manufacturer in the packaging industry with more than 70 years of experience. Through recent investment in capital and equipment, we are expanding our offering and geographic reach. To support our growing sales, we are looking for a new team member with the right combination of customer care and sales acumen to serve new and existing customers.

The Inside/Outside Sales Representative will support inbound requests via telephone and online inquiries. The IOSR will also make targeted outbound calls to new and existing customers to identify needs to generate opportunities.

Inside Sales Representative - In this role, you will:

• Respond to sales inquiries from new and existing customers.
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and targeted outbound cold calls and emails
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and requirements
• Develop understanding of customer alternatives to provide the best value offering
• Develop strong rapport with customer to create long-term account relationship where appropriate
• Track and record communications with customers and prospects and use those to follow up with customers

• Work with internal estimating tools to develop custom customer pricing
• Collaborate with internal staff to prepare accurate customer pricing and offering
• Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
• Ensure timely completion of estimates and responses to inquiries

Outside Sales responsibilities:

• As the new team member is more familiar with our offering, and existing customers, he/she will occasionally meet with established customers to maintain a relationship and support customer needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven inside sales experience
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Proven experience working with customers to understand their needs/requirement and convert into proposal
• Strong phone presence and experience making outbound sales calls to prospective customers
• Proficient with corporate productivity tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience working with Quickbooks or similar accounting or CRM tools
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Proven experience working with customers to develop trust
• Previous experience in a similar role in Printing industry would be an asset
• BA/BS degree or equivalent'

Pay: $60,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
