What’s the Job?

• Synthesize polymer particles using established chemistries.
• Participate in process optimization, development, and scale-ups for routine production.
• Perform analytical characterization of polymeric particles using specialty equipment and instrumentation (including ion-chromatography, particle sizing, and surface area instruments).
• Analyze data, derive conclusions, document findings, write SOPs, and prepare reports.
• Present written and oral reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups within R&D and manufacturing divisions.

What’s Needed?

• Hands-on experience in the chemistry laboratory and wet chemistry techniques.
• Ability to summarize and present experimental results with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
• Capable of lifting weights up to 40 lbs and meeting all physical demands to work in a chemical laboratory.
• Familiarity with EH&S safety requirements, participation in safety improvement activities, and adherence to ISO9001 guidelines and corporate quality policy.

The position is Contract to Hire – Contract Length: 1 Year
