Department : Therapeutic Recreation

Summary : Operates a motor vehicle to perform various duties involving the transportation of Residents, Mozaic Senior Life

Reports To : Facilities Supervisor, Director of Resident Life

Hours : Per Diem

Essential Responsibilities :

• Transport Residents to special events and other locations as directed.
• Follow safety regulations of the vehicle, including loading and unloading Residents in wheelchairs.
• Refine vehicle after each trip for future use.
• Detect faulty operation of motor vehicle and notify supervisor of need for service.
• Maintain vehicle and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience : 1-2 years of related experience

Licensure : Connecticut CDL license

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines; Ability to read and communicate effectively.
