The NEW Moxy Madison Downtown is hiring Hotel Night Auditors for the151-room hotel in downtown Madison, WI.
** Starting wage for this position is $16.00-$18.00 per hour but final wage will be based on experience**

How do I make an impact on my team?
Our friendly and attentive Hotel Night Auditor is committed to going the extra mile to deliver high-quality service to our overnight guests while performing nightly balancing duties, daily paperwork and shift reports related to the property's business transactions.

• Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations ensuring accuracy of the property's financial and accounting records and process departmental reports
• Provide highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs
• Promptly handle guest service requests and guest complaints to meet and exceed guest expectations
• Promotes house drinks and food utilizing suggestive selling skills whenever possible to
  maximize revenues.
• Prepares beverages and food requested by customers or servers according to standard
  operating procedures.
• Has complete knowledge of the menus, including preparation time, approximate portion
  size and serving procedures.
• Follows alcohol awareness training process to monitor guest behavior and guest alcohol
  consumption.
• Use computer system to make reservations, check-in and check-out property guests, process payments
• Perform tasks such as answering phones, maintain a cash drawer, operate office equipment
• Ensure guest and property safety by knowing all safety, security and emergency procedures

What does success look like in this role?

• Ability to work overnight from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a. m.
• Must have 1 year of hotel front desk experience
• Understanding of general accounting practices and ability to compile facts and figures
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-up abilities
• Reliability and honesty
• Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve
