Position Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Tissue Procurement Technologist is to provide technical and laboratory support for acquisition and processing of transplantable tissue grafts for veterinary patients and research customers. This person is responsible for performing all aspects of graft manufacturing including procurement and processing activities, production planning, supply & labeling preparation, hands-on processing, clean-up and maintaining general readiness for procedures. It will also involve some laboratory testing, maintenance of the laboratory, management of documentation, and assistance with quality control audit procedures.
