MoveWise is Hiring a Mover Near College Station, TX
MoveWise is an independent moving company that assists with loading/unloading and packing/unpacking rental trucks, storage units, and containers. We offer labor only services, meaning we provide the manpower and equipment needed to move customers belongings from one location to another and that is it. We do not provide transportation such as box trucks or trailers.
Job Title: Mover (Loading/Unloading & Packing/Unpacking Specialist)
Job Purpose: To safely and efficiently load/unload and pack/unpack customers' belongings onto and off of moving trucks as part of a moving service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physically load/unload and pack/unpack household goods, office equipment, and other items onto moving trucks
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate equipment to move items, such as dollies, straps, and furniture pads
- Communicate with the customer and team lead to understand the specific needs and requirements for each move
- Ensure all items are securely loaded and properly documented for transport
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area and equipment
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Physical Demands:
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Regularly bend, twist, and reach with hands and arms
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced work environment, both indoors and outdoors
- Exposure to varying weather conditions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
