M4BL DATA INTEGRATION LEAD

Schedule: Full Time

Location: Remote, w/ minimum 25% required travel

Reports to: Director of Integrated Technology

Salary: $88,000 - $103,000 with full health benefits for employee and dependents, employer-funded retirement plan, remote work stipend, and 28 days of vacation

MOVEMENT FOR BLACK LIVES

TECHNOLOGY TEAM

M4BL is currently building out its Technology team, whose mission is to harness and optimize technology in a way that robustly supports M4BL’s core initiatives, including the Vision4BlackLives and Project 2024: Black Power Rising. This team is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, ensuring that every technological solution is tailored with compassionate support and adaptability. 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Integration Specialist at M4BL is a vital role focusing on managing the data infrastructure, with a special emphasis on the EveryAction CRM system. This position involves leading the data migration and cleanup for the CRM, collaborating with various departments and ecosystem partners to enhance CRM functionality and data utility, and working under the guidance of the Director of Integrated Technology. The Specialist plays a key role in ensuring data accuracy and effectiveness, which is fundamental to our operational efficiency and the success of the Vision4BlackLives and Project 2024 initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead the data migration and cleanup for the EveryAction CRM system.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve data-related issues and enhance data utilization.
  • Work with ecosystem partners to support and optimize their CRM systems.
  • Develop, document, and implement best practices for data management.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve staff competency in CRM usage.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data management and CRM system integration.
  • Proficiency in data management, particularly with CRM systems like EveryAction.
  • Strong collaborative skills and experience working with external partners.
  • Experience in developing and conducting training on CRM usage.
  • Strong personal alignment with M4BL’s Ideological pillars:
    • Anti-capitalism
    • Black Queer Feminism
    • Abolition
  • Demonstrated ability in leading data migration and cleanup projects.
  • Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Project management skills, with a focus on problem-solving and adaptability.
