MoveAmerica is seeking a qualified Security Specialist to serve on a team responsible for maintaining and conducting the security functions of the MPP Strategic Response Cell (SRC). Security Specialists will assist in implementing a comprehensive set of security processes and procedures covering all aspects of industrial security including Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Information Assurance (IA), Information Security (INFOSEC), and Operation Security (OPSEC). The candidate will work cross-functionally to control access to SRC facilities and services and will ensure compliance across staff and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Special Security Officer (SSO) to ensure control of access to SCI and SCI facilities (SCIFs) by; certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances/accesses; conducting SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and training on classified material/SSO-related material and topics; obtaining signed nondisclosure agreements; and providing guidance and assistance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests for assigned personnel.
  • Collect data and prepare time and attendance reports for the office as well as responds to routine and ad-hoc requests for information such as reports.
  • Support audits of classified material and inspections of classified material storage facilities/SCIFs/containers.
  • Research and prepare classified material-related policy and management recommendations, reports and recommendations.
  • Support clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, and physical security, including alarm response for controlled area programs.
  • Provide guidance to customers and management on security issues such as security education, insider threat, classified document control, security investigations, classification control and personnel clearances.
  • Support the OPSEC Program to protect sensitive unclassified information, activities, equipment, and materials. Applies knowledge of Physical Security requirements and SF-86, SF-312, DD-254, SF700, SF702, Operations Security (OPSEC).
  • Develop, participate in, and/or provide training and awareness for SRC staff and clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of professional experience.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards.
  • Thorough understanding of security databases and SCI Access procedures, e-Quip, JPAS, NISS, DSS, and Scattered Castles use and management.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated.
  • Commitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customers.
  • Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations.
  • Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas along with working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254, SF700, SF702 and other required forms.
  • Thorough understanding of security databases.
  • Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings.
  • Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FSO training certificate.
  • Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification or Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
  • Experience developing and implementing OPSEC plans.
  • Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
  • Experience conducting security incident inquiries.
  • Resourceful in solving problems and capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Professional Certifications/Affiliations.
