We are looking for a passionate and eager-to-learn writer to help create clear, inspired storytelling for our fashion watch and accessories brand based in Los Angeles, CA. You will work directly with our Senior Brand Writer and creative team members to assist in writing both romance and advertising copy across multiple channels, including product storytelling, email marketing, social media campaigns, editorial writing and more. Our ideal candidate has a strong affection and skill for writing, an interest in the watch and fashion industries, and a deep native understanding of relevant social media platforms. We are looking for someone who resonates with the MVMT brand and wants to learn how to translate a high level brand identity and voice into concise, impactful stories and soundbites. 

Intern would work on a part time basis, up to 25 hours per week, during normal business hours. Normal business hours are Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm. This is a PAID internship. This is a hybrid position. 

Responsibilities:

- Write clear, original and exciting copy in the MVMT brand voice

- Help conceive and execute stories that engage and inspire our audience

- Reinterpret high level copy from the Senior Brand Writer into successful targeted soundbites across channels

- Collaborate with graphic designers, product designers and other professional teams on large-and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. product descriptions, email and social media campaigns, social media advertisements, website pages, press releases, television/podcast scripts and more)

- Conduct high-quality research in industry (watches, fashion, social media and e-commerce) trends, channel best practices (social media, email, influencer, etc.), target demographics and other relevant areas

- Edit and proofread copy as needed

- Organize copywriting team’s databases and documents

- Integrate SEO research into romance copy to maximize reach
