Supports Medical Supervisor by providing leadership and oversight in medical department. Provides direct care to employees. Works in conjunction with supervisor on worker's compensation case management. Assists with patient education and other Wellness Center initiatives. Exemplifies excellent customer service, builds rapport with employees. Understands unit policies and procedures and can fill in for supervisor when needed.Duties/Activities Required by Job- Completes annual competencies, continuing education and maintains mandatory certifications such as CPR and licensure. Attends one off-site education or conference annually in leadership or area of specialty. Independently seeks professional development.- Provides exceptional customer service to employees and potential employees. Ensures that all medical tasks and procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Assists with regulatory compliance programs such as Resp, BPP and hearing screens. Collaborates and communicates effectively with department leaders.- Initiates Incident investigations and schedules follow up visits as needed. Communicates with safety and management.- Assists with projects as delegated by Medical Supervisor.- Assists with compliance of drug and alcohol testing programs.Educations/Experience Requirements- RN- 2 years nursing experience.
