Per Diem Outpatient Clinician

About the Position:

The Per Diem Outpatient Clinician is responsible for providing best-in-class group facilitation with the purpose of creating an individualized recovery experience that incorporates the body, mind and spirit of each client. The Per Diem Outpatient Clinician is expected to provide coverage for PHP, IOP, and/or OP groups as needed.

Schedule:

Per Diem; with at least 8 hours per month guaranteed. 

Your Role:

• Provide coverage for PHP, IOP, and/or OP groups with a focus on integrated care as assigned.
• Comply with all federal, state, and accreditation regulatory requirements.
• Complete monitored urinalysis of clients, ensuring accuracy in documentation and processing of specimen.
• Demonstrate an understanding of group dynamics and processes.
• Collaborate and consult with the OPS interdisciplinary team members regarding group member clinical processes and needs.
• Conduct therapeutic treatment utilizing best practices of counseling and crisis intervention. 

Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or related field, required.
• Holds and maintains independent license or associate license in Connecticut as LCSW/LMSW, LPC/LPC-A, and/or LMFT/MFT-A -or- hold a CAC in the state of Connecticut, required.
• Previous experience facilitating group therapy, required.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting, preferred.

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $50.00 - $75.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
