Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Parts Runner. As a Parts Runner, you will be responsible for delivering parts and materials to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

OBJECTIVE

Assists the parts and service department personnel by performing the following duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers parts to technicians.

• Ensures that areas of the parts department are adequately stocked.

• Assists the service department by moving vehicles as needed and delivering vehicles to other repair facilities for sublet repairs.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• If required, give customers a ride to and from the dealership when vehicles are brought in for service.

• Picks up and delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed by the Parts or Service Departments.

• Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors, and dusting parts bins daily.

• Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when the part has been replaced.

• Assists detail department in washing cars when shorthanded.

• Helps push cars into the shop when they cannot be started.

• Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• No prior experience or training.

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
