SUMMARY

Provides maintenance to golf course, course facilities and surrounding areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Servicing of course which includes changing pin placements, tee markers, trash removal and making course presentable on a daily basis.
• Ability to operate large tractors, fairway and rough mowers as well as other equipment
• Mowing of greens, tees, slopes, collars, rough and fairway areas with the appropriate piece of equipment
• General knowledge of the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and powered equipment.
• The ability to operate a weed eater, mowers, tractors, trencher, vehicles and equipment as necessary
• Maintain mowing and landscaping vehicles / equipment
• Assist other Team Members with duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent then to the Director of Golf Operations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and stressful situations.
• Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment for the task.
• Ability to recognize / remedy safety concerns and utilize all personal protective equipment as required.
• Time management & priority setting and work independently.
• Troubleshooting & problem solving
• Knowledge of OSHA required standards.
• Life safety equipment and systems
• The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
• You will need to be available to work all shifts.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.

EDUCATIONAL AND / OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

You will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
