Mountain View Manor is a 120 Bed Skilled Nursing Center located in Prescott, AZ. We are currently searching for a seasoned nurse to join our growing team.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Duties:
- Provide direct patient care and perform nursing assessments as needed
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff
- Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions of care
- Provide health coaching to patients and their families
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret test results
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient information accurately

Skills:
- Valid nursing license and CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to catheterize patients, perform vital signs assessments, etc.
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes and resources available for patients
- Experience in case management and coordinating patient care across various healthcare settings
- Ability to provide health coaching to patients and educate them on managing their conditions
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation procedures and interpretation of test results
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
