Mountain Valley Orthopedics PC is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near East Stroudsburg, PA

Mountain Valley Orthopedic's is seeking a qualified candidate for checkin/check out and the call center as a Customer Service Representative for a busy multi-specialty Orthopedic practice. The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to perform the following tasks:

  • Monday through Friday-Day Shift
  • Rotating Saturday Mornings(as needed)

Summary:

  • Register patients upon arrival
  • Scan and attached registration paperwork to patient’s EHR
  • Prepare paperwork for appointments
  • Collect co-pays and balances
  • Answers incoming telephone calls
  • Direct calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule appointments
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain professional telephone etiquette
  • Computer literate
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Prior customer service representative experience preferred
  • Must be able to work one Saturday morning every 4 to six weeks
  • Travel between the East Stroudsburg, Brodheadsville and Tobyhanna and offices is required.
