Summary
The Director of Accounting will lead, guide, and direct the Accounting department and team members, while also serving as the Accounting liaison with the executive team and other departments. This role ensures the accuracy of the financial statements, the timeliness of financial information preparation, and the optimization of accounting procedures to support the company's goals. The right candidate should be willing and able to dive into the details as necessary to review transactions and practices for GAAP compliance, strength of internal controls, and opportunities for policy and process improvements and efficiencies.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Type: Exempt / Full-time
Salary: $126,583 annually
Location: Remote with occasional office time and travel required; candidates must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
