Mountain Sage Community School is a public, charter school inspired by Waldorf education and sustainable living, serving students in grades K-8, located in Fort Collins, CO.
We are currently seeking a qualified and energetic person to serve as a long-term guest teacher in the fall of 2024. All teachers at Mountain Sage play an instrumental role in bringing the vision of our school to life. The ideal candidate will have Waldorf training, or a deep understanding of arts-integrated education, and will be a consummate teaching professional with a passion for co-creation. We weave together Waldorf curriculum and Colorado academic standards to deliver a rich arts-integrated, experiential education to our students. We expect all our teachers to uphold a positive and nurturing classroom culture.
We anticipate this job will begin August 7, 2024 and come to a close around the first of November. The ideal candidate will be a person with classroom experience, a love of working with children, a high comfort level with changing duties, and an alignment with our mission. This is a full-time, temporary position from 8 AM-4 PM Monday-Friday
LSA CLASSIFICATION: Hourly Exempt
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Regular, part-time
WORK HOURS: 40 hours per week
WORK CALENDAR DAYS: 60
PAY: $24-$28/hour
REPORTS TO: Educational Director
