Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• An empathetic and compassionate manner with a genuine passion for patient care.
• The ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• An understanding of patient confidentiality and medical ethics.
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Proof of COVID vaccination required

Roles:

• Assist patients with daily activities. These may include but may not be limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and walking.
• Check vital signs, weight, and height regularly, noting any changes and reporting these to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with daily motion exercises and physiotherapy for patients needing rehabilitation.
• Serve meals and assist patients who may have difficulty eating.
• Ensure the patients' surroundings are clean and safe by cleaning rooms and changing beddings.
• Document daily activities in the patients' health logs.
