Duties and responsibilities

• Deliver designated patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Aid patients with personal care and daily tasks including showering, grooming, and eating.
• Maintain the correctness of patient-related paperwork and reporting.
• Notify nursing staff of any unusual findings or changes in physical, mental, or emotional states.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, or transfers whenever necessary.
• Assist with unit(s) and patient room stocking, cleaning, and organizing.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Provide quality services to patients, families, co-workers, and vendors in a manner that ensures satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID and flu vaccination 
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
• BLS certification encouraged
• Physically fit
• Ability to maintain patience and respect while performing a variety of tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
