Duties

• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
• Keeping patient rooms clean and organized
• Assisting with patient meals and feeding
• Documenting patient care and reporting any changes in condition to the nursing staff
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Helping patients with mobility, such as transferring them from a bed to a wheelchair
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate
• Assisting with medical procedures, such as catheterizations or wound care
• Administering medication under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician

Qualifications

• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Be at least 18 years old or older.
• Provide proof of COVID and flu vaccination.
• Be willing and able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• It is encouraged to have BLS certification.
• Be physically fit to perform the tasks required.
• Have the ability to maintain patience and respect while carrying out a range of duties.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
