Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Veterinary Technicians/Assistants are an integral part of this mission, and are expected to support our entire Hospital team as well as our Clients and Patients. In line with our AAHA accreditation our Hospital has: Surgery, Dentistry, Diagnostic Services, and Medical Library.

It is our goal to not only improve the lives of our Patients and Clients, but our Staff as well. Therefore, all Full-Time employees are eligible for continuing education aid after one full year of employment. All continuing education must pertain to their regular job responsibilities.

The Veterinary Technician/Assistant's duties will include, but are not limited to:
Rooming/Prepping Out Patients for DVM
Performing Lab tests
Prepping/Assisting DVM in Surgery
Performing X-Rays
Managing care for Boarding/Hospitalize Patients
Maintaining Kennel, Treatment, and Hospital Areas
Administering: Baths, Nail Trims, Minor Grooming, and Anal Expressions
Applying Medicated Dips

10 Hours Four Week days

Some Weekends
1 Hour Lunch Breaks

Expected hours: 39 – 44 per week
