Each work-study position has a wage range of $16.50 - $18.50/hour with each hired individual's wage calculated using Mountain Home's transparent and equitable wage matrix. 

CURRENT WORK-STUDY POSITIONS WE ARE RECRUITING FOR:

Residential Support Specialist- Assist residential staff in helping ensure Mountain Home’s residential program is a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for young mothers and their children. The RSS provides safety and support for all residents while assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of the house and adherence to program rules. Duties include:

  • Providing direct care to residents and children in the residential program 
  • Helping ensure the House is clean, organized, and welcoming for all
  • Building rapport with residents while maintaining professional boundaries at all times
  • Supporting residents with transportation, homework, applications, etc. 
  • Helping residents complete house meetings, chores, meal preparation, and quiet hours
  • Receiving, inspecting, sorting, washing, and putting away donations 
  • Maintaining reliability and dependability through a commitment to schedule and tasks 
  • Performing other appropriate duties as assigned

Children's Support Specialist- Assist childcare staff in helping provide direct care to infants and toddlers ages 0-3 that is nurturing, developmentally appropriate, sensitive, and trauma-informed. The CSS supports toddlers through purposeful interactions and play, and maintains an enriching environment that promotes children's all-around development and changing needs. Duties include:

  • Engaging in meaningful, trauma-informed interactions with children
  • Preparing food and feeding infants and toddlers individually or in groups
  • Changing diapers/assisting with using the toilet, and monitoring nap time routines
  • Maintaining cleanliness of childcare spaces, equipment, materials, and supplies
  • Building rapport with parents while maintaining professional boundaries at all times
  • Providing care to children of all ages during afternoon and evening group classes for their parents
  • Maintaining reliability and dependability through a commitment to schedule and tasks 
  • Performing other appropriate duties as assigned
