Your Role at Baxter

This is where we make life-saving products

You have deep knowledge of and experience with manufacturing processes. You understand the importance of building relationships, establishing order, and maintaining clear communication channels. Your role as a Planner positions you to be directly involved in the physical production that enables Baxter to fulfill our mission to save and sustain lives. You handle various incoming demand signals from 20 IPSO sites and develop daily production schedules for four departments to meet fulfillment requirements. Teams with network planners and customer site contacts to analyze and resolve supply and demand issues; avoiding patient impact.

What you'll be doing

• Work closely with the Purchasing, Production, Quality, Logistics, Warehouse and other departments to maintain production efficiency and quality and align with Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Quality System standards.
• Team with Network Planner to break down Master Production Schedule into a Daily Line Load schedule & generate work orders in ERP system.
• Adjust daily and weekly production schedules to account for unplanned events and demand shifts.
• Advise Network Planner and key stakeholders of high impact issues in the plant.
• Monitor, review and update system parameters (Lot size, manufacturing rates, Lead-time).
• Support Network planner to ensure Rapid Response parameters are aligned to plant processes.
• Maintain BOM’s and new codes in ERP.
• Supervise QA release performance and follow-up late release.
• Participate in plant tier meetings; serving as the voice of customer to the site.

What you'll bring

• 1-2 years of related Supply Chain experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Display ability to schedule and prioritize for self/others, to handle multiple activities and to meet time constraints.
• Strong interpersonal skills … ability to multitask and be appropriately aggressive and persuasive.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a sophisticated organizational structure.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control, purchasing and warehousing is vital … functional expertise.
• Behavioral characteristics such as showing self-motivation, foresight, effective follow-up, self-reliant, patient and responsible are key factors.
• Develop basic technical knowledge to support various systems effort and improvements.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is 56,000 - 84,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
