Work Shift: Full Time 40 hours/week: 5 days on, 2 days off with at least 1 weekend shift.

Overview:
Come join us at Truckee Rents helping homeowners and local contractors with equipment sales, rentals, and service. As a Rental Yard and Counter Associate, you’ll prep rentals for pickup, check in returned rental equipment, provide instructions to customers on operating equipment and do basic service on equipment such as refuel, clean and test. The role also includes assembling new equipment that has been sold and preparing for customer pickup or delivery. At the rental counter, you’ll answer the phone, perform cashier duties, manage rental reservations, and submit warranty claims. And during the winter months, you will be instrumental in receiving, assembling, and getting snowblowers ready for customers. This role is perfect for someone who loves equipment and working with people. The ideal candidate will have equipment and customer service experience and is looking for a year-round, full-time position.

COMPENSATION RANGE - $17.50- $20.00/hr. DOE

Skills:

• Knowledge of power equipment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Detail-oriented with the ability to inspect and maintain rental equipment
• Basic computer skills for processing rental transactions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills to keep the rental area clean and organized
