We are a Heavy Highway Construction company seeking an HSE Engineer whose main duties will be to travel to several different jobsites each week and assist in safety-oriented tasks.

Responsibilities

-Site Safety Documentation & Photos. Flying the drone when applicable.

-Site Safety Inspections.

1. Multiple sites visited per week.

-Planning & Coordinating a weekly travel schedule with site supervisors.

-Maintaining a relationship with Prime Contractors’ safety personnel.

-Pre-Project Kickoff Work.

1. Emergency Contact Sheet
2. OSHA Documentation & Federal Paperwork
3. OSHA 300A Paperwork
4. Connex Box Safety Supplies
5. Prime Contractor – Safety coordination meetings, and required documentation.

-Accident Reporting.

1. On site post-accidents
2. Detailed Pictures
3. Police Officer Communication & Report Numbers
4. Assisting Supervisors on MCC Accident Reports
5. Maintain Yearly Accident Tracking Log
6. Timely Distribution of all information.

Qualifications

1. OSHA – 510 (OSHA 30 hour course)
2. OSHA – 500 Instructor Course
3. Board of Certified Safety Professionals - working towards CHST (Certified Health & Safety Technician). 2 year window to complete. 
4. Drone certified
