Fire Protection Service Corporation is now hiring for a full-time collections representative
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound/outbound collection phone calls, asking for payment in full on every call or negotiating payment plans
- Write letters or uses approved form letters in collection attempts
- Respond to correspondence received
- Logging all client contact in current accounting programs
- Utilizes actions/incidents/note or current system
- Receive and process payments as determined by collections manager
- Maintain positive attitude toward debtor(s)
- Filing invoice statements, run errands, adhere to code of conduct, confidentiality agreement & company safety policy
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in highly structured environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Goal oriented professional with strong work ethic
- Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variable sin standardized situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must read and speak English
- Professional mannerism and phone voice
- 6 months related experience and or training
Education & Certification:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Utah DOPL Burglar Alarm Company Agent License or ability to obtain one
- Notary Public or ability to obtain one
