General Statement of Duties:
Mount Wachusett Community College seeks a faculty member to teach a variety of courses within the English department. The primary teaching responsibilities will be first-year composition and other English courses in literature and writing as needed. The candidate should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: African American literature; multiethnic American literature; Latinx literature of the Americas; advanced writing and research; and courses in support of the department's degree track in Professional Writing through a CRT and/or social justice lens. The department is looking for an educator who believes that engagement and authentic teaching matters in the pursuit of student success and achievement. The successful candidate will be committed to the academic success of all of our students in an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates diversity and differences. To this end, the successful candidate will work effectively, respectfully, and collaboratively in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings.

Salary: $47,931.00-$81,488.00
**Actual Salary will be determined in accordance with the classification system of MCCC/MTA commensurate with Education & Experience.
