The School of Business at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full-time (9-month), Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance to begin in August 2024.

The School of Business also offers a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. These programs combine theory with real-world experience to prepare students for professional success.

Responsibilities

• Undergraduate and graduate teaching in finance and economics as assigned by the Dean. Classes include corporate finance, financial investments, and managerial finance.
• Academic and career advising with business students.
• School of Business and University service (e.g. committee service, assessment, events).

Other responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications

Doctorate in Finance, Economics or closely related business area. Qualified ABD candidates will be considered. University teaching experience is highly desirable and relevant business experience is a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship from the University under the Immigration Reform and Control Act. Must have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
