Mount Sopris Instruments is Hiring a Rental Coordinator Near Denver, CO

Mount Sopris Instruments is seeking a Rental Coordinator to join our Logging Equipment Rental Department. As a Rental Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless rental experiences for our customers. Your typical day will involve liaising with customers to understand their equipment needs and scheduling rentals accordingly. You'll leverage your organizational prowess to track rentals and generate invoices using computer software. Effective communication will be key as you interact with customers via phone and email, ensuring their queries are addressed promptly and professionally. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity for technical training on our equipment, enhancing your ability to provide top-notch support to our valued clientele.

No direct experience is required but we ask that you demonstrate your aptitude and desire to learn about our products so you can better communicate with our customers about their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated individual with a strong desire for professional growth.

  • Proficiency in basic computer functions such as email, internet research, Word, and Excel.

  • Use of small hand and power tools to perform minor maintenance of equipment.

Duties:

  • Ensure accuracy of all orders being shipped based upon the customer’s needs.
  • Pull, package, and prepare equipment for shipping.
  • Receive incoming rentals into inventory management database.
  • Test outgoing rentals for proper operation.
  • Check-in and process rental returns.
  • Manage activities throughout the rental order and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines and customer expectations are met.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding scheduling rentals and what their requirements are for the equipment they are interested in renting.
  • Use PC, email, internet, occasionally shipping software and other methods to route, create, track, and prioritize incoming/outgoing shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with other internal departments regarding the status of rentals, tech support, repairs, etc.
  • Responsible for keeping the warehouse and rental work area clean and organized.

Our office hours are Monday through Fridays 8:00 am MST ‐ 4:30 pm. MST. This position will not available for remote work.

For Mount Sopris, Company benefits – not including statutory benefits - have historically added 25-30% on average to base wages, which is substantially greater than most companies in the Denver area.

  • Base Rate: $26.50/hr
  • Benefits: $6.23/hr
  • Vacation (first year): $2.22/hr
  • 401K match (3% at 100% & 2% at 50%): $1.06/hr
  • Effective Hourly Rate (less profit sharing): $36.01/hr
