Status : Full Time Regular

Department: Information Services

Position Summary:

The Healthcare Data Analyst must be analytical and resourceful. He/she must be an excellent communicator who is able to tell the story behind raw data to non-technical audiences. Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus. The Healthcare Data analust gathers and integrated data from disparate sources. He/she builds models and analyzing data to unearth trends and patterns. He/she sresentins and explains information, and suggests improvements. This position requires understanding healthcare operations and systems, gathers and analyzes healthcare data from multiple sources (e.g. Sunrise Care Manager, Optimum, 3M HDM, Tele-track, other data source extracts) to extract trends and business insights.

Education Required

Must complete in-house orientation program

BSc/BA in Health Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field

Experience And Skills

Speaks, reads and writes English

Proven experience as a health data analyst

Experience in data analysis and visualization methods (e.g. Tableau, Clik)

Displays understanding of healthcare processes/procedures

Crystal Report Writer proficiency

Excellent analytical and communication skills

A minimum of 3 years of finance/accounting experience with emphasis in financial analyses

Outstanding organizational problem-solving aptitude

Proficient in SQL and analysis tools (e.g. SAS, SPSS)

Must be proficient with MS Office and demonstrate advanced MS Excel skills

Previous Allscripts EMR/other EMR experience a plus

Working Conditions

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn

Sitting, standing and computer data entry.

Extended periods of computer workstation / monitor use.
