Description The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Breast Imaging Physician. Position Description: Provide clinical care to patients by conducting diagnostic and image-guided therapeutic techniques, including image based diagnosis (radiography, nuclear radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, magnetic resonance, computed tomography, interventional procedures, and molecular imaging). Obtain pertinent patient history, perform physical examinations, and arrive at a differential diagnosis. Recommend, plan, conduct, supervise, interpret and dictate reports for breast imaging procedures appropriate for existing clinical condition. Recommend therapy and future studies. Teach and mentor residents, fellows and clinical staff. Perform clinical research, including via multi-center trials, investigator-initiated research and collaborations with other departments in multidisciplinary research protocols. Position Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine or foreign equivalent, plus 4-year residency in Radiology. Radiology clinical training must have included conducting the following diagnostic and image-guided therapeutic techniques for image-based diagnosis: nuclear radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, magnetic resonance, computed tomography, interventional procedures, and molecular imaging, including for breast imaging procedures; and use of diagnostic radiology modalities including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT scan, MRI, general nuclear medicine and PET/CT. Must have completed 1-year fellowship in Breast Imaging. Must possess Medical License with NY State Board of Medicine and have passed FLEX examination or equivalent (i.e. NMBE III or USMLE Step 3). Compensation range is from $300 to $400K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits). Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday. May work overtime and on weekends as needed. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City offices and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
