Description Mount Sinai South Nassau is looking for Breast Imager in Oceanside! The Department of Radiology at Mount Sinai South Nassau is an extremely high-quality 17-person radiology group in the New York metro region which is expanding and recruiting an additional full-or part-time breast imager. Our practice is sub-specialized, and the breast imager will only be responsible for the full spectrum of breast imaging unless they desire to also do some general radiology on occasion. Our hospital has an accredited cancer center and in particular an accredited breast cancer center of excellence. The hospital also has an accredited trauma center, an accredited stroke center and the hospital provides all services except for transplantation. We are affiliated with a major academic center and have residency programs in most specialties (except for radiology). We perform all high-end boutique style breast imaging. We are an extremely collegial group of physicians and our teamwork along with our support staff and clinical services (physicians, nurses and others) is exceptional. We are a 450 bed academically oriented community hospital with state-of-the-art equipment that also provides radiology services at 5 imaging centers including one dedicated breast imaging center. We are a fully digital department with flexible work hours and schedules. We are recruiting for a highly qualified breast radiologist who is conversant with high-end breast MRI, all breast imaging modalities and procedures, as well as breast AI. We provide excellent compensation and fringe benefit package. Our compensation package is among the highest in the New York metropolitan area. Position will remain open until filled. Recent graduates and fellows in training are acceptable.
