Working knowledge and experience with equipment such as microphones, mixing boards, and computers or tablets to control sound. Also, one must be able to control sound output by using outboard gear such as compressors, reverbs, and limiters to manipulate the sound dynamics and use equalizers to change the quality and tone of the sound where needed.

Responsibilities

• Mixing live music, vocals, and dialogue.
• Operating a mixing board.
• Managing adjustments to the sound during events; such as music or sound effects.
• Converting video or digital recordings to a digital format to edit the sound.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Understand live stream to help create the best mix to be streamed and maintain the ‘in-house’ sound reinforcement as well.
• Must be available for all rehearsals and church services including; but not limited to: memorials, weddings, and indoor/outdoor special events.
