Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need, including seniors, children, and those requiring hospice care. Duties: - Provide direct care and assistance to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities - Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Administer medication according to prescribed schedules - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning individuals as needed - Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition for clients - Engage in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with household tasks, such as light housekeeping and laundry Qualifications: - Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required - Knowledge of first aid techniques and basic medical procedures is a plus - Ability to lift and move individuals with mobility limitations - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others - Ability to manage behavior challenges with patience and empathy Skills: - Childcare experience - Hospice care knowledge - First aid training - Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals - Caregiving experience - Familiarity with taking vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, pulse) - Experience in senior care or assisted living settings - Knowledge of social work principles and practices - Behavior management skills We offer competitive pay rates based on experience and qualifications.
