Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator/Loader

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for an Excavator/Loader that has a mechanical background to join our team in Morrisville, PA with occasional work in our quarry in Harleysville, PA. An ideal candidate will strive to maximize equipment run time and achieve daily production goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner to prepare materials for crushing
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Operate other equipment and labor and needed
• Comply with OSHA and MSHA standards

Qualification/requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment in truck yard environment
• Experience filling dump trucks and recycling facility equipment
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders to work in overhead positions requiring harness and safety line
• Mechanical aptitude to use tools for repairs and maintenance
• Able to act as backup for location in Harleysville, a plus
• Must be age 21 or older and have valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Team player and able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
• Available to be on call for Emergencies on the weekend and flexible to work overtime as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
